InnerRewards.com was created to help women over 30 (just like our founder):

• Lose weight/stay in shape
• Reduce stress/live better
• Eat healthier

We guide people toward health and wellbeing through preventative healthcare products, programs, solutions, and articles and videos. We help you on YOUR path to wellness.

We are a community site, bringing together women whose goals are to live a better life and to connect with others like them. We have in-person events (say, a Napa wine trip), retreats for Pilates and Yoga, and great deals to help incorporate wellness into your daily life.

The Poem That Inspired the Name

Inner Rewards Expected in Return (Thanissaro Bhikkhu):

Because the Buddha saw
how these enlightened qualities
of wisdom, compassion, and purity
could be developed
through the pursuit of happiness,
he never told his followers
to practice his teachings
without expecting any gain in return.
He understood that such a demand
would create an unhealthy dynamic in the mind.
In terms of Western psychology,
expecting no gain in return
would give license for the super-ego to run amok.
Instead, the Buddha taught
that even the principle of renunciation is a trade.
You exchange candy for gold,
trading lesser pleasures for greater happiness.
So he encouraged people to be generous
with their time and belongings
because of the inner rewards
they would receive in return.

Our Logo & What it Means

Our logo is a Kusadama, which is used in Japanese origami. The Kusadama represents health, balance, and wellbeing, and is often used as a gift. The Japanese word Kusudama comes from two Japanese words kusuri (Medicine) and tama (Ball). To us, the Kusadama represents the integration of what we define as wellness--health, balance, inner & outer beauty, physical fitness, and nutrition. We created the logo to visually represent the overlapping of all things wellness to truly live a balanced life.

Our Mission

Everyone at InnerRewards believes that integrative health is essential. We believe that what you eat, your physical activity, your mind-spirit balance, and the actions you take toward living well each day help you make the most out of life, and decrease illness and chronic disease states. We created InnerRewards.com to help people achieve health and wellbeing through goal-oriented plans, wellness guides, and connection to wellness practitioners. Our mission is a big one: to help make people well. We do this with education, guides, programs, products, and connection to the right wellness providers for you.

Preventative/Integrative Health

At InnerRewards we fundamentally believe that integrative healthcare is the key to wellness. Preventative health has been shown to protect against illness, disease, and chronic disease states. According to the National Institute of Health, Chronic Stress leads to serious life-threatening medical conditions, causes insomnia, impacts hormones and fertility, and leads to depression.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes and numerous other health conditions are caused by high cholesterol (diet), tobacco use, obesity and physical inactivity, and stress. Every one of these can be prevented by taking active, daily measures. That's where you, as a wellness provider, come in, and that's why we built this Website.

InnerRewards.com has created an online ecosystem connecting the most renowned wellness providers with people who, like us, believe reducing stress, eating healthy, managing weight, and taking care of their bodies and minds in a proactive way is the key to living well.

Wellness providers on our site can:

• Educate Members about services, treatments, and programs that achieve health and balance
• Promote deals, life-changing plans, and retreats that encourage Members to make wellness a core part of their lives
• Participate in our Community, helping answer day-to-day questions about managing wellness and optimal health

We connect Members and Providers around our holistic view of wellness--which includes diet and nutrition, fitness, alternative & natural health, stress management & life balance, and skin and body care.
