Ever heard of mechanically separated chicken? It's in many nuggets, hot dogs, and other processed meat products. Much ground chicken and turkey is mechanically separated. Check out this photo from Fooducate and think again about eating it:

This photos is worth more than a thousand words to keep chicken nuggets out of our house. Actually for many, many years they have been. Luckily my kids outgrew them at a young age.!
Oh my gosh, that's so terrible. Things like this always make me glad I'm a vegetarian. :-)
