ohhhhh, well I think some of you know I started smoking again, briefly, in 2009 due to crazy personal stress and work stress (really unhealthy, I know!), and as a result, I really had some insane skin things happening to me including but not limited to: splotches, redness, wrinkles, dull skin, flakes, arg.
I think aside from that I have no regrets, I am normally very very healthy so the smoking thing was a total shock to my system and not very good.
curious as to others!

I don't know if this is the worst thing I've ever done, beauty-wise (I think my experience using anti-aging cream as a teenager, resulting in hives and acne scarring, would take the cake on that), but I attempted to grow my brows back to a fuller state - "attempted" being the operative word. After ridding my long-term waxer for offensively overplucking around this time last year, I went au naturel, surrendering to a (pricey) brow specialist this summer who convinced me to go months (months!) without touchups. Combined with my naturally dark, unruly brows (against my naturally dark blonde hair), my strays and overgrowth looked more Frida Kahlo than Brooke Shields.
Ultimately, I realized that, much like any other trend - long hair or short? natural nails or fire engine red fingertips? - eyebrows are personal, and are best left to the person who has to, well, wear them every day. The strays are gone, my arches are fuller, and I no longer listen to the little devil on my back, urging me to keep a unibrow for the sake of my vanity.

Definitely, my worst experience was the first time in history I overprocessed a spt-bleaching job on my hair...what was supposed to be a temporary solution until I could get to the salon. Normally adept at such things, I ended up investing in some wide hair bands and getting the quickest salon appointment I've ever had!
Your turn, Jacquetta!

For me, hitting 30 was some signal for my body to do whatever it wants without taking any consideration of my diet, exercise, or hygiene. All of a sudden, my backside expanded, my skin was drying out in places that it's never dried out before, I started getting the worst hangovers EVER and my toenails started growing all kinds of weird. I would say that this (aging) is my most bizarre beauty experience ever. *Will it ever end?!*
