A couples wellness retreat tour in Indonesia that hits 4 the most beautiful islands. Unlimited Yoga, Pliates, and Meditation classes + daily massage and all gourmet food and organic wine included :)

I'd like to go to a winter mountain retreat. Some snowboarding or snowshoeing in the AM, then a massage in the afternoon. The evening would be spent in front of the fire with a hot chocolate.

Oooooooo what a treat! I could make 5 big ones go a long way. I might start with scheduling regular massages for a year, with my favorite therapist, to ensure a regular relaxed happiness. That would still leave a bit over 4 grand. Since travel and learning are high on my list, I'd spend the rest on a nice long trip, possibly hitting 4-5 continents, punctuated with meals from great chefs and environmental and historical sight-seeing. Galapagos, check. Mayan ruins, let's go! Hawaii, check. China and Japan? Here I come! Trans-Siberian railway? Maybe. I've always wanted to travel down the canals of Europe on a rented canal boat (slow travel), too. There's no end to the possibilities!

Oooohhh, this is tough! Two ideas came right to my mind.
1) Take my mum & myself on a week-long yoga/spa retreat in Iceland.
2) Take a week-long trip to Italy w/the hubby

My mum told me they have some FANTASTIC airfare deals right now ... *daydreaming*

I really like L Garner's idea of a year's worth of massages, except I really think I'd get one per week for all 52 weeks. (Can you say, "addict"?) From my math with tips included, that leaves me around $850. I'd really like to try some laser treatments to zap some wrinkles (if I had any), but I think I'd need more than that, right?
C'mon Jacquetta--do tell!

I'd book a year's worth of acupuncture. Simple, to the point, and effective.

To me, wellness means of mind and body. Life in general, these days, is stressful and we have all gotten used to such unhealthy habits, which is why so many of us suffer from chronic headaches, stomach problems, insomnia, constipation, etc, In order to begin the healing process, I believe you have to remove yourself from all the chaos and relearn how to be one with G-d, Nature and your body. Because my family are the most important people in my life, I'd like to take my mom, stepdad and sister on a hiking, walking retreat in the gorgeous state of Utah. There are a few wellness spas in St. George that accomodates everyone of all ages. Everything is fresh and natural, from the incredible organic foods to the fresh air. After a week of hiking, yoga, massages and other treatments, and eating real organic foods with no preservatives and additives, vim and vigor would be restored and we can go back home to start anew and hopefully continue practicing a healthier lifestyle. The end result.....I'd hopefully have more quaality time to spend with those I love the most.
