Allergies and neti pots

My allergies have started to bother me a lot the past few weeks. My usual go-to allergy meds aren't completely doing the trick, either! I'm considering using a neti pot but am a little afraid to try it out. Has anyone had luck using a neti pot to help with allergies? Are they difficult to use?

I haven't tried using a neti pot yet but after reading about them I think I will this winter. Allergy medicine zonks me out and never works 100%

My husband was doing it often last winter, I think it helped him. I wanted to try it. I was just too weird for me, but if you can handle shooting water up your nose then do it. It just wasn't for me.
