It depends on what type of facial you want. There are a bunch out there and several books on the subject. Honey is one of the best overall ingredients for hydration and also for aging skin. You can add things to it or just use it alone. I wash my face with warm water and some type of cleanser (fine oatmeal is good you can grind it in a coffee grounder used specifically for herbs) and then I put the honey in a thin layer for about 20 minutes. During the mask set I usually also put green or chamomile tea bags on my eyes while I am waiting. Then rinse with warm water. I use a blend of Rose Water and Witch Hazel with a touch of Glycerin and Orange essential oil for a good homemade toner for the facial. Or just take a lemon or orange straight from the store and rub it all over your skin.. then rinse off with spring water. A good sensitive skin mask is adding a bit of fine oatmeal to the honey or avocado. Oatmeal has very soothing properties and will help almost any type of inflammed skin including acne. For a moisturizer I use coconut oil on wet skin. You can use any type of oil almost..but just make sure the skin is damp or the oil can actually dry out your skin. Hope these are some good ideas for you!

Super easy, buy a ripe papya and mash it up and spread it on your face. The enzymes in the papya are similar to a fruit acid peel but gentler. It exfoliates and smells great!

The best home made facial I have ever experienced is the Organic Egg Facial!!! Not only do I like to do it when I have the chance, I highly reccomend it to all my clients before a special occassion.
It does take a few minutes, and it is messy. But these are little announces with great results.
Take an oganic egg, whip the white and the yolk together, get in a bath, (it is important), and paint the egg over your face. Use a basting brush or art brush.
Let the egg dry completely. About 20+ minutes, then wash it off with warm water.
You will experience fabulously nurished skin that will absolutley glow!

In response to the questions about what the eggs do for the skin. Here is a breakdown: The egg whites are called Albumen and is actually used in some skincare masks and moisturizers. It acts as a protein which firms and nourishes the skin. Proteins we ingest give us energy and stamina and we will have the same results when we use it topically. The yoke is for the consistency and weight of the mask. Allowing the mask to harden is crutial because you want to skin to soak up all the nutrients it can.
You can also look online for some facial massage techniques and rub coconut oil, grapeseed oil, shea butter oil, and with chamomile or lavendar (the actual herb) and go to sleep without removing. I would recommend blending everything together first and then applying with your fingers. You will wake up with smooth and great textured skin. Let me know what your favorites were. Hope this helps!
